President Message

Through the COVID-19 pandemic, humanity was confronted with a threat that it had begun to forget—the threat of infectious diseases. We also came to recognize that many of the pathogens transmissible to humans originate in animals. In other words, when it comes to infectious diseases, protecting the health of animals is closely connected to protecting the health of humans.
The recent rise of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria has become a worldwide problem affecting both humans and animals. In order to prevent further increase, it is important to not merely treat illnesses with medications but rather to prevent them in the first place—namely, to shift “from treatment to prevention.” This fact has become widely recognized in both medical and veterinary fields.
Our mission is to be “dedicated to the health of human beings and animals, utilizing the science of preventative medicine.”
In keeping with this mission, we hope that our primary customers, the livestock producers will use our veterinary biologics to produce safe, reliable livestock products and that through this, we can contribute in some way to helping people lead healthy and vigorous lives. In future we will continue to research, develop, manufacture, and supply outstanding veterinary biologics while fulfilling our social responsibility as a pharmaceutical company, and we ask for your continued guidance and encouragement.
